Act Like A Man Read Count : 50

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A

In my body, lay the wounds

From those who loved me most.

Their words built the tomb

For he who couldn't act like he was supposed.

I am sorry that I couldn't be a man

Instead, I cried over the simplest of things.

It is hard to truly understand

Their intentions when that belt stings.

A pop to the mouth helps the mustache grow

Just as it does for a swat to the bottom.

I only cried more but then I didn't know

That those spankings helped me blossom.

The man I grew to be

I learned by avoiding everything done to me
