For years, I lived life on my knees
Praying for your good health.
Glass bottles had poisoned our family
And with each kiss, death I smelt.
If I could have found the words to say
Anything, I would have spoke on everyone's behalf.
But day after painful, miserable day
All we did was point, whisper and laugh
