I bow before youMy lords and ladiesYour gentries of station have led me here in perfect formThis day is pleasant and brightI am glad to be honored and brought here despite my personal abomination and scornThe battle was fought with great honor and vigorous attempt for a cause that is true and rightHowever, the fact that our cause was lost; leaves me with great feelings of contempt.Let us now sound the horn of union , instead of one of discontent .Enough lives have been lostEchoing screams in the distanceBrotherly blood has been the costDue to a silly quarrel and resistanceSo many stories have come to an endLast moments have been metSo many lives have been made to suddenly be forced to ascendAll for what , some physical possession we have longed to get ?Sadly it seems to have been spawned from the souls of men who were simply boys lost in the land of pretend .
