Footsteps that clatter
A dull noise in the distance
Fading shadows of sound that don’t matter
The tick of the clock 
The fans white noise and click
All of life’s wonders can either amaze or make things fade even more quick 
Just like staring at the sun 
Trying to find the truth
Your eyes might burn out too quickly
Wasting what was left of the gift of youth .
