friendly , clean and safealone , dirty, and without hopeit is the state of ruinsthat used to be a townthat finds me disenchantedand run downthe markings on.the wallsthat we pass each daythe proof of something that once wasnow lying in decaythere must be some reasonor purpose for despairand each day as i wake i realize it's right thereit saddens me to saythat I remember better dayswhen the streets ran with promiseand not all our dismaysso many things have happened to this tiny placeand leaves us all wondering why we endure it's sad disgracethe truth is knownand yet seems untoldthis is no longer a land of the youngbut of the oldrespectfully I say to all those who have entered hereand remained regardless of change or fearabandon all hopefor all is lostmove on or dwell and endure the costWelcome to Johnstown , leave now or forget about peace ...
