You call yourself DadYou call yourself my Father 
Without even realizing you’re the reason I’m broken
You say you love me 
Yet you’re the one who hurt me
You say that you’ll protect me
But you had failed to protect me from yourself 
You say that I’m the best thing that happened to you 
Yet you left me in the dirt alone
You say all these things 
But then do the opposite
And it makes it hard to know
When someone’s actually telling me the truth 
And not some half lies
