never have i ever found love so real
never have i ever wanted so badly to feel
never have i ever laughed at a joke
never have i ever spoke. 

i lived to love the silence
of those around me. 
the silence, the pain, the memory
it's never a choice when you don't have a voice. 

and i began to wonder if i'd ever get out of my class cage, 
if i'd become his trapped bird;
useless, a science expiriment. 

i lived to love the silence 
of those who had the audacity 
to break down my spirit. 

now i live to love you, 
and your noisy silence. 
though it doesn't break me up, 
nor build me up
it just inspires me to build myself up. 

i love to love you, 
i love to smile, i love to dance,
i love to shout, i love to know. 
but i should warn you,
i also love to let go
