Dispense unto me this one boon.
For a lifetime I’ve cried, how I did croon.
Gazing listlessly up towards that far reaching moon.
Take my soul from this place where the devil does swoon.

Afford me this small appeal.
From in-prisoned heart, that fate did seal.
This hidden heart of mine, does not wish to feel.
Here where broken hearts are made with such zeal.

Leave nothing to sister fate,
For she hides behind ivory mask.
Leaving shattered souls in her wake.
Hope slipping ever so slowly away.

Dispense unto me this one boon,
This my weary plea.
