I stared out of the passenger side window of the white Toyota Highlander my mother owned sitting silently as the vehicle raced forward. The flowers on the side of the road flailed in the wind as the vehicles drove by disturbing their restful state. I wished I could be a flower, beautiful and at peace with no worry in the world. But I couldn't because that wasn't the case here. 

My parents have been together for 25 years. They have 5 kids and 2 grandchildren. There's my big sister, Destiny, she's 22 and 4 foot 11 with brown hair and piercing blue eyes. My big brother, Preston, he's 20 and 6 foot 5 with deep brown eyes. My twin sister, Sierra, 19 same as me with brown hair and brown eyes. She's 5 foot. My little brother, Brynden, 14 and a major pain but i love him. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. Then there is me. The middle child. I'm 5 foot 3 with brown hair and hazel eyes. 

You see, we seem like a normal family but normal doesn't run in our family. My parents don't get along anymore. They fight all the time and it's affecting us all. My mom has a boyfriend in Brazil that she's never met. My dad is seeing one of his exes. They don't want to admit to each other that they're both cheating because that would mean more problems. 

I just want the issues to stop and I want us to be happy again.
