There will come a time in your life when your eyes will be open to the way the world really works. Depending on how attached you are to your ideals and illusions, you will experience different levels of emotional struggle in dealing with the acceptance of life as it truly is. 

You may deny it for awhile, or fight it, or even try to change it. But eventually acceptance will come. And with it you will either find a blah or bitter attitude towards the world, towards yourself and others, or you will find a newfound reason to discover your purpose while you still have time to carry it out and make the difference you were created to make. 

Spirituality, religion, politics, familial ties and bonds, friends, careers, etc. all seem to be shifting and superfluous almost. You may find nothing solid is left to cleave to. What's left after the turmoil, you may ask. 

Not a whole heck of a lot if you go by your previous standards. But when reevaluated by your more aware self and newly revised standards, you will start to look at life with a new set of eyes. 

You may be raw and wounded but you're still breathing. You are awake and alive with decisions to make and life to live with your loved ones counting on your very survival and contributions. You will look at things in a different light and you will feel responsible in making a difference. 

So, you will lace up your boots, pull up your panties, you will do whatever you have to do and you will decide to be the game changer in your part of the world. It's inevitable. 

You will exhale the pain, throw away the bitterness, cry out the regret, stand up and you will fulfill your purpose with passion. 

There is no way that your life will not have at least the occasional good thing happen. You will accept that those are enough. You will accept that life is a war. You will pick up the torch from your predecessors and parents and peers and move forward one treacherous, mine-laden battlefield step at a time if necessary, and you will go out there and kick ass!
