One night, she was laying on her bed staring at the blank white ceiling. Her white hair covered her white eyes. She stared at the white wall and rubbed her white skin. She looked at  Her white bed, her white wardrobe, and her white desk. She looked to her white rubbish bin with white paper and broken white pencils.

Then, she knew.

That cold night with white snow falling, she set off on her journey to find colour. She searched and searched, and finally she found it.

A beautiful white building with a blue roof grey shutters, grey steps, and coloured flowers and vines growing all around it. She stared in awe, and went inside. In there was different paints. There was blue, and green, and red, and yellow, and indigo, and violet, and orange, and all the colours in between. She found herself buying them all, and making her trek back home, she thought of what she could do in one night.

She started in her room. But one touch sprawled paint in beautiful formations. It leaked out her window and touched the ground, painting the shrubbery, the trees, and the sky beautiful shades. She watched, astonished.

The world was filled with colour.

And because of this girl, this night, is why we see what we see today.
