Trying to hide a pained face
Because you feel so out of place
You already feel so ignored
Now you hurt worse than before
Somehow it feels like a broken bone
But really it's just feeling so alone

It's a realization, a slap in the face
You see that you're still behind pace
Now you know you'll never belong
You wonder where it went so wrong?
No matter what you did, how hard you tried
You always ended up being the one that cried
You always ended up feeling this way
While they go on with their ruthless day
Someone should go and throw them a parade
For keeping up the nice guy facade

You don't know why you just sit there
It's not like you actually care
Who would want to be apart
Of a group that doesn't have a heart

They know what they are doing is mean
Maybe they're not as bad as they seem?
But that doesn't mean you want to stay
Being with them, they'll take your humanity away
They'll make you lie and cheat and steal
You'll forget what it's like to feel
You'll forget what it's like to be kind
To have a conscience in your mind
And that's okay right?
Nope. Go on and put up a fight
To make sure no one knows
What it's like to be under your rainbow
