It’s okay to not have friends
This is not how the story ends
I will make it through
No matter what I have to do
Eat alone at lunch
Get mad and throw a punch
Be the girl with no looks
Because she always has her nose in books
Be quiet or scream out loud
Maybe not always make my parents proud
Maybe they’ll get all mad and sappy
But they’ll be glad that I’m happy
I’m allowed to make mistakes
If that’s what it takes
To accomplish my dreams
Even though it seems
Impossible
I hate people
But someday I’ll find someone who will care
Enough to take on all I bare
Enough to take away the pain
And they’ll know I will always do the same
