INTRODUCTION

Is Africa for a hug? over 50 years Africa has gone through a number of challenges. These challenges includes slavery, tribes wars, diseases, killings, poverty, hard labor and much more.

As history reminds us of slavery, our minds, heart and spirits retorts! Is as if Africa is asking for apology!

Of course, Africa asks for apology from all those who brought slavery trade to this continent. Our grandpas and grandmas have been sold like goats and sheep in markets. Many died within the process.

God forgive Arabs and other people from Europe and other parts of the world for troubling Africa. Why did they do that?

Civil wars have remained a chronic sickness in Africa. By default, many if not all African states fought during the ages of the struggle for independence or within territories of local rulers. If not political unbalances. This was common even before of comings of foreigners to this continent. After all these, a new syndrome of sickness has emerged in the African continent: wars within individual countries or border to border wars. This has brought Africa back and became a center for armaments business for the Western World, America, Russia or China.

There has ever been a secret behind all these unhealthy conflicts within the African continent. Some conflicts has been a result of interests of base metal and gemstones. Some of conflicts engineers are internal or external business tycoons who have personal interests within specific countries and therefore they are making sure they place kinds of governments that would be able to maintain their interests. And sometimes even some countries are involved in such a situation ranging from within Africa itself  and beyond Africa.

African countries that have oil and gas, the top 10 base metals and uranium has emerged to be best targets to the so-called "Digital Age of Colonial Rule." At this digital age of colonial rule, whether you like or not, they shall rule you. They shall rule you through technology because you don't have the technology of your own. They shall rule you over education system because you have failed over 50 years to have the best education system that suits your needs. They shall rule you over your culture because you have failed over 50 years to teach your generation the power and value of your culture. And Africa today has no strong mark of its identity except ‘poverty' (sorry for that).

Among values of Africa is ‘culture'. Culture is among the most valuable assets that is  expected to be kept keenly like how we store and keep gold or diamonds!

Our youth today in Africa, have lost their African identity as well as ideology. With Western lifestyle roaming the streets of Africa, we cannot make it. Why? As an individual, as a country and as Africa we have already lost our direction.

Majority of us, we will not think like Africans, walk like Africans, dress like Africans, eat like Africans, promote our African culture, African science and African innovations...

Losing your own culture is a serious sickness that requires a quick adjustment and remedy.

Africa should not remain a dumping place of all sorts of unwanted gadgets of the so-called the first world. There are a number of unwanted gadgets in the Western World. Forget about technology where all doubted technology is tested here especially in the area of medicine. Africa should not be a dumping place where obsolete technology can be brought easily under the cover of 'supporting Africa technologically.'

Its true that Africa needs technology but not 'obsolete' technology. We want a kind of technology that can support Africa going far to its pace of development advancement.

There was the time and I hope until now where obsolete computers both desktops and laptops were dumped here under the so-called ‘assisting African education system awakening technologically.' In an overview, we can clap our hands. But in reality, behind the scene, there is a hidden truth. This is how things are taking place here in Africa. Our leaders must think beyond our poverty line and must have widened eyes to see things at a correct focal.

Sector of technology is a very important sector in the world today. Africa also needs such a technology to run with technological pace worldwide. As a business, as usual, the Western World is targeting Africa in a different angle. On the other side of the coin, Africa itself does not even bother to share ideas or be part of contribution within the technology industry of the world in a competitive way. Always Africa remains as a consumer of development gadgets from the Western World. This is wrong. Africa we have tantalum but we could not even invent phones or electronic equipments.

I feel sick. Let's say enough is enough. We are capable of doing something. Brothers in Microsoft, NASA, Boeing and everywhere, its high time now to focus at home.

Diaspora, you are a key to the future of Africa. Gather yourself for home.

Those who are here for the past 50 years plus, has failed to push Africa from within. Its high time now to inject external force. Mange Kimambi, change the direction of your wind. Focus on a more wide scope. Expand the size of borders and battle tactics. I see ahead a big book narrating the story of Africa in a different perspective.

I see writings in text and illustrations quite different from the past. I don't see the story of sicknesses, poverty, war, terrorists, violation of Constitutions, killings, abductions, being in jail without trial, theft of democracy or the power of AK 47 roving in streets while terrorizing innocent civilians. I see media carrying correct headings of hope and prosperity.

Diaspora, bring technology back home. Civilization and science began in Africa. People, science and technology all was stolen from here.

Diaspora, we want our technology back home. Its your responsibility to do that. Here at home, for over 50 years we have failed to push Africa from within. You are outside Africa. You have energy and you see better from without, do it now!

Diaspora, come back home and 'Hug Africa'.

When the Western World design or invent their technological hardware or software, they focus on their own use and benefit. Africa should not depend on foreign technology entirely. By doing so, it will be difficult to handle your internal affairs such as security matters. You cannot demand that you have total freedom and privacy. If the president's laptop or desktop is not of your own technology, the antivirus is not your own technology even the internet is not depending on your own satellite, then how are you safe? And how can you protect your president?

Africa must have its own technology. Invent its satellites. Have its computers and software. Over 50 years Africa should not remain dependent on foreign technology and assistance. There might be un-officiated technology undercover. If they do exist, they must be uncovered and put on display. China and most of the Asian countries including India have managed to research and come up with very advanced technology in different sectors depending on their needs. Today, these countries are exporting their technology to foreign countries including Africa and South America. This is a great achievement.

Communication is another area which has been invaded by the Western World and they are reaping billions of dollars each year by exhausting customers by heavy bills and other tariffs without proper control of governments. The area concerned here is the area of mobile phones and its related services. Individual customers have remained victims of embezzlement as the most controlling system is covered by the corruption syndrome. For that matter, customers are not protected at all. Some mobile companies are operating at the best and practical service and make their customers running satisfied. But some are corrupt and barbaric yet some African countries remain silent without pinpointing at those companies. This might be they are connected to some big shots who are corrupt.

Each African Country must own states' telecommunication company to render better and affordable services to its people. Private companies can exist just to support the existing public service companies. Because we expect the public service institutions to be the role models in terms of quality of service, affordability, security, warranty and guarantee to its consumers and tax collectors.

Mining Sector has emerged to become the largest sector in terms of boosting or contributing to the national income annually.

The worst side of this sector is poor management system and corruption engaged.

What is rendered as income coming from all taxed areas as stipulated in the official MoU, most of the time is just a quarter of what was supposed to be rendered to the respective government's  Ministry.

Why this has been possible?

Corrupt public officials and the poor controlling system has been a reason on one side.

  • Secondly, the lack of modern technological tools in the management of the mining sector.
  • Thirdly, proper records keeping for the purpose of auditing and tax management.

These and other reasons have been made possible deliberately in order to give room to deviate from the fact.

Geological Reports as well as drawings and maps which exists today in most of the African libraries and in presidents' offices, 50% are real and 50% deviates from the fact.

African countries should not depend on those records. Instead, they should train their own experts overseas combined with local experts (owning indigenous mining know how) to come up with their own records of:

  • How the top 10 base metals could be detected and mined.
  • How the top 10 gemstones could be defeated and mined.
  • To realize where uranium ore, oil, gas and other kinds of stuff of the earth are deposited as they are needed worldwide.

Africa is potential to the economy of the world. Africa has enough resources needed by the Western as well as Russia, China and other parts of Asia. Africa is not poor. The occupants of Africa can be poor but not the continent Africa. Africans are poor because before, they had not struggled for food as wildlife contained free fruits, honey, wild animals, roots and fish.

A fed-up man, who got fed up freely minus his movements and little muscles, always become  lazy.

God favored Africa with tropic weather. Africans lived in this continent as if they are in Eden. But today, things are different. Today, they have to learn how to work efficiently accompanied by emerging technology. And Africa must move forward and become the next giant economy. First, must compose. Look back. Look where we are and look ahead for advancement.

In looking ahead, Africa should focus on about 3 Asian countries. These countries are China, Malaysia and Singapore. There are some other countries falling under this category but I have chosen those 3 countries only without the specific reason. Of course, I could talk on countries like Vietnam, North Korea or Indonesia. All these countries had made tremendous changes in their economies within a very short period of time due to their determination.

Why China?

Reason one:

  • History has proven that as Tanganyika and other East African countries were gaining their independence from British in earlier 60s; economically they were almost the same like China.
  • Tanganyika and China they adopted the same ‘Socialism' or Communist style of leadership and economy. This was a kind of self-reliance economy where all people were sharing what they produced and all modes of the economy were public

Fine! That is what took place to some of the African countries like Tanganyika those days, Ghana under Kwame Nkrumah and Patrice Lumumba I think was trying to build the same in Zaire but lately failed and they had killed him.

China struggled with its Communism with a combination of Maoism, Marxism and Leninism theories. China took a sacrifice to build its economy and reshape its people to understand the manifesto practiced under the Peoples' Communist Party of China. The whole process was not a mare ‘trying' but ‘doing' it. And today, China is the most successful economy in the world. They have their own technology whether copied and advanced. They have their own satellites and for that matter, they control their own means of communications for security purposes. They have their own languages they honor. They design and manufacture their own armaments ranging from bullets, guns, fighting jets, rockets to ICBMs. They have gone far in terms of advancement technologically.

In terms of agriculture, China is the best in the world. They produce enough food to cater for the internal markets as well as external markets in order to boost foreign earnings. China is the best in producing pad, fruits and vegetables.

They have industries ranging from family industries, middle to super industries run by robots. China today is thinking beyond industrialization. They are thinking duper industrialization.

Recently, I heard China is planning to start a project of creating their artificial moon. Think of this level of technology which now is surpassing all odds of technology and man is trying to compete with God!

Malaysia and Singapore just like China they had gone far. Life standards of their people are almost competing to the first world to some extent. And when we talk about people here, we mean the majority of people. Of course, as it is in the developed world, the biscuits of development will not reach all the people. Because some other people by default they used to run away from the trunk roads of development. Usually, development will not follow you; it's you who have the responsibility to follow development. Development is for the people. But people have a role to play, to follow development. Otherwise, development will lag people behind if they don't stay on the trunk roads of development.

If Africa will put aside what I can call "boarders' syndrome, 'colonial' syndrome, 'color' syndrome" and things related to these, sit down and decide to say enough is enough to poverty, sicknesses, unending internal conflicts, wars, killings, corruptions, smugglings, drugs, human trafficking, terrorism, deportation, abducting, presidential limits etc.

Africa would have a new move towards self-development and reliance.

His late Muammar Gaddafi preached several times about why it's important for Africa to unite. All his life he has ever been supporting OAU until it became AU. He had a great idea and he saw a better Africa united to become under one roof of leadership and economy.

The same, Mwalimu Julius Nyerere preached all his life, asking different countries of Africa at least to begin with geographical unifications; mentioning the East African Union and ECOWAS as a good example of earlier unification of some of the African countries.

What appears to be an individual problem is what some African presidents are afraid to lose their sits as presidents. They have little heart to the extent that, they are too selfish and killing the great idea of one united Africa than a set of presidents with little contribution to the stability and development of Africa. Such kind of leaders they are fun of presidential motorcades of guards in black suits and guns as if they are playing ‘Commando Movie of Sylvester Stallone'.

African leaders must get out of a daydream and wear a coat of a real leader full of charisma. Africa, we are tired of remaining in the dilemma of understanding what exactly the future of Africa is?

Women and children of Africa are killed like rats in the streets. No one is taking responsibility for their safety. The so-called leaders are in the office enjoying ACs, Milo or Coffee from Paris. Seating on a swinging chair watching a 43 inches television; is this what we have sent these people to do in public offices? These leaders, they have been given everything they need minus working for us. Promoting the standards of lives of people; booming economy and making sure the security of our borders is well maintained and no invaders are coming to our land. Instead, they have become ‘movie actors' and business tycoons in State Houses.

When the external world is focusing on the African perspective, what exactly do they perceive a failed economy?

  • A continent full of incompetent leaders?
  • A continent full of challenges of sickness and diseases?
  • A continent full of competent learned brothers but lacking focus or silenced?
  • A continent full of development opportunities but lacking visionaries as well as implementers?
  • A continent full of diamonds and top 10 base metals occupied by blind men?

Or What exactly should they describe Africa and Africans?

Africa and some African leaders, they love AK 47. They just resemble Osama Bin Laden. In one hand Osama Bin Laden holds the Holy Quran and on the other hand AK 47. Some of the African leaders you see on television coverage wearing smile, in fact, is a fake smile. They are good actors like Eddy Murphy in ‘Coming to America movie'. If you could open inside their hearts, you could find AK 47, machetes, pistols and poisons. They are killers and life destroyers. They have Special Forces which has the responsibility of ‘snatching, beating and killing' anyone who is not moving together with their ‘styles of leadership.'

In almost all African countries today, no one is allowed to complain, to question or comment on any negative opinion relating to the government. And if you do so specifically in public, ‘you will disappear.' And if you will be back, then you are lack and you will come crippled or with one eye left! The other must have been chopped off without painkiller! But of all these, there are some good countries where democracy is at its highest peak. A good example is Tanzania. This is the heaven of peace. Since Mwalimu Nyerere reign till now, this country is very democratic and I presume it would keep being democratic in the future. Things are different here in comparison to other countries. You cannot hear that people are abducted or killed. Not in Tanzania. You cannot hear people are wounded in the cause of their political stands or opinions. Not in Tanzania. You cannot hear or experience election maneuvering and if any disputes may be registered, the court of law will handle the matter in a justifiable manner. Or else?

#WE CAN HAVE A BETTER AFRICA OF TOMORROW

This hashtag can be launched to begin a new campaign for "A Better Africa of Tomorrow". In my mind, I thought it could be better if the ‘DIASPORA' could start this campaign specifically for those who are living in the USA. America has ever been a source of many black movements since the time of Dr Martin Luther King Jr. And if this campaign will start there, something with the impact I believe will happen. The rest of the world where black people are living will support the cause and a new movement will arise. We must look forward with eagle's eyes to see a better Africa full of better life for women and children of Africa.

Should we remain silent drinking beer and eating bugger saying its cool no problem? No. Still, there is a room of saying the followings: AU to AU is just a mare Union with no impact on African conflicts and other serious matters happening in Africa such as human rights, wars, killings, terrorism and much more. AU should compose itself and be tough. The question of contributing soldiers to the AU forces is good but something more should be done to ensure peace and tranquility within the region. So, AU is trying but not to its best.

  • African leaders, you have failed Africa• Professors, you have failed Africa
  • Doctors (PhD holders), you have failed Africa• Teachers, you did the best 60% but 40% or vice - versa you have failed Africa
  • Men of God, you did the best 30% but 70% you have failed Africa because you are afraid of facing the truth and speaking the truth before your leaders of the country
  • Witch doctors, seers, you have failed Africa 100% You have nothing good to society but destructions
  • Politicians, you did the best 30% but 70% you have failed Africa
  • Public service, you did the best 70% but 30 you have failed Africa
  • The private sector, you did the best 50% but 50 you failed Africa
  • The infrastructure you did the best 30% but 70% you failed Africa
  • KThe mining sector, you did the best 30% but 70% you failed Africa
  • External financing, you did the best 80% but 20% you failed Africa
  • Corruption 150% you failed Africa
  • Diaspora, if organized could support Africa amazingly
  • Universities specifically political science and economists have remained zipped and therefore failed Arica.

My feeling is to try to look at the way Africa can move forward mostly economically. That is, what factors if adopted could empower Africa to move forward economically by power by force?

CHAPTER ONE

Elaborating What is Poverty

In African Context

First, by definition, poverty is defined by the dictionary as “The state or condition of having little or no money, goods, or means of support”. This is definition in general terms and as short as possible.

But what exactly is poverty as far as the continent of Africa is concerned? And what is poverty as Africans are concerned?

When we discuss the issue of poverty and Africa, always we n must separate the two.

Africa as a continent like all other continents the way they are, is not poor. African continent is rich in terms of resources.  When we say resources we mean,    people, land, forests, ocean, lakes, rivers, animals etc.

When we mention land, we mean, land as land and its contents like minerals, oil, gas and all valuable assets that are associated with land that are valuable.

When we say ocean, lakes, rivers and related to that, we mean water itself in different categories and all valuable lives that are found in water as valuable assets.

Forests comprises of trees, honey, herbs, life of living creatures, timber, research, weather or biodiversity in summary and all these are valuable assets for man development.

When I touch the area of minerals the scope is so wide. I can write books and books. For Africa the sector of mining has remained the huge targeted area by external investors and smugglers of valuable minerals such as diamonds, tanzanite, emerald, ruby, alexandrite, rhodolite,  garnets etc as well as base metals such as gold, tantalum, platinum, silver, palladium, rhodium, columbite, iron ore, copper ore etc.

Area of animals comprises of all big game reserves, national parks even tame animals etc.

The area of tourism in Africa is a giant industry for some countries like Tanzania, South Africa, Botswana, Kenya etc.

Africa as a continent is not defined as a poor continent. No. Only the incumbents of this continent can be defined as poor statistically and by economical ratios.

Different books of economics has given their different versions of definitions concerning Africa and its people. Scholars has said and wrote so much about this subject matter.

WHY AFRICA HAS REMAINED POOR ON A RICH LAND?

True history of Africa has been hidden. The truth about the former Africa has been distorted. Worse enough, slavery brought commotions and disruption of African continent.

During those old days, Africa had interior development. Science and technology  has marks in Egypt, Timbuktu -  Mali and other parts of Africa.

Iron workmanship was proved to exist in Africa for years. Iron tools such as spears, knives and other tools has been found in different parts of Africa. This proves that Africans had started industrialization many years back prior the comings of the Europeans or Arabs.

The first letters or writings were discovered in Egypt. Drawings in the caves are still available in different parts of Africa. The former Africa was moving forward and not backwards.

IS FROM WHERE AFRICA WAS TAGGED AND STOPPED ACCELERATING IN DEVELOPMENT?

  1. Of all the reasons, slavery disrupted Africa   heavily.  If you want to stop man depending on the total potential of his thinking and innovation,  put him in a cage like chickens or chimpanzees. His ability within all degrees of his intuitive mind, seizes functioning.
  2. Of all the reasons, slavery disrupted Africa   heavily.  If you want to stop man depending on the total potential of his thinking and innovation,  put him in a cage like chickens or chimpanzees. His ability within all degrees of his intuitive mind, seizes functioning.Slavery traumatized the entire continent of Africa. This scar is still there to date. Africans equated themselves as humans of the lowest level. The negative words from their masters and masters' families eroded all senses of human and Godly value from themselves. Is as if their brain was washed by the ocean tides.lTill today, all the Africans, whether in America, Africa, Indies or other parts of the world, were not given council in the trauma of slavery their ancestors suffered and Africa in general.
  3. Combining slavery plus colonialization, Africa was broken completely. Before the healing of slavery, Africa was taken by surprise of mass invasions of Europeans after the Berlin Conference. Africa was teared into pieces not for the interest of Africa but Europe. This was another suicidal mission for African continent.
  4. Each territory in Africa was counted as one of the regions of the colonialists' country. All the local people of that country were considered as slaves of the ruling country. So we can see here that, slavery was changed in a new formation. Instead of taking people to other countries to work as slaves, as long as they have land, the they will work and produce from their own land without incurring  transportation expenses and lost of life.
  5. Lack of human dignity and respect reduced the degree of self esteem and actualization. The vest of self confidence was undressed and therefore left majority of the people with low morale of life. People could not have their own version of ideas except the minds and negative  words  of their masters.

The biggest efforts that their masters did was to cover their people they rule with  veils of inferiority complexes. Their education system was designed in such a manner that,  it does not  show that there is anything good in Africa. Furthermore, it was trying to describe Africans as people who can not manage anything and that, their position in life is to work for a white man. This was not true and still is not true!

To put things at level, all people are equal. Their basic needs are the same. People can only differ in life style depending with the economical size of each individual or family and not otherwise.

So, basing on what I have tried to explain above,  Africans were knocked in their central consciousness and therefore lost the appetite of 'innovation mind'. Innovation mind is coming from within. Is some sort of a vision that sticks in mind and can be remembered and copied into real life.

In order you connect with inner man, the physical body must be at peace. In order for the physical body to be at peace, the sound, the environment, the air and every factor of life must be friendly to the physical body in order for the inner man to react positively to the physical man who is parallel with the spiritual man. At this juncture,  things are created and manifests into physical miraculously.

Due to psychological turbulences and environmental hardship with hard labor, Africans majority of them were not themselves. Why were they not themselves? Because their freedom and ability to plan and decide on their own was stolen and left under commands, corporal punishments and lack of ownership of basic assets such as land and family.

The kind of life you live today, has effect to your future as well as generations to come. The odd side of it is that, you can not sense it immediately.

In the past, the so called colonial education was not set to benefit Africans to understand themselves. To understand the real knowledge required to make Africans benefit the ready opportunities available like land, people, minerals, ocean, lakes, rivers, forests and other hidden potentials.

Africans were prepared to wear suits and tie ready to work for white color jobs. This sickness till today is affecting Africans.

The late Dr Martin Luther King Jr says, if you can not fly, run. If you can not run, walk. If you can not walk crawl. In order for things not to remain stagnant, there must be a movement no matter what kind of movement is. Is better off you  move slowly rather than remaining stagnant like a wall.

The world of development are flying. Africa is walking. We are behind by two steps. We must upgrade ourselves at least to start running.

Today Africa has a number of academicians around the world at different ranks of academy. How do you look Africa? What do you perceive?

Should Africa remain the way it is?

This is our continent. No one has pain about Africa and Africans except Africans themselves.

These Africans is me and you whether a diaspora or a lecturer at the University or any College.

I want everybody in Africa with awareness to focus on this continent differently. With the size of valuable assets Africa has in terms of human capital, land, water and minerals I want to see a different continent with vibrant growing year to year  economy.

Congo should not be left to hooligans who are there controlling tantalum, copper, gold, diamond or timber. No. There is nothing that belongs to Congo but Africa. African countries should not remain calm. No. We must have  courage to stand up and protect Congo, South Sudan, Libya, Egypt, Somalia and other parts of Africa where hooliganism is continuing.

AU must have saw teeth. We want a more powerful and strong AU. AU should be a powerful tool for the benefit of entire Africa. A strong AU should be a mark that will lead Africa not only to end scattered but becoming more united. This is what is in my mind. I see a far!

I was shocked the way Muammar Gadaffi was treated by the Western  countries in their allied game and AU remained silent. Entire Africa remained silent. Africans remained silent. The whole world remained silent. Africa lost a hero.

These people of the Western world have their own interests in entire world, specifically countries that own oil and gas.

They took Saddam Hussein and ensure they finished him. After finishing him, Iraq is there like a lonely stone in the desert. No one is interested wit Iraq now. They fail to organize themselves. They are like a chick that the chicken had taken by an eagle.

Africa should be firm. Division and internal conflicts should not be allowed. Most locked countries are in civil wars. The reason behind it (fake  one) is political indifferences. That is not true. There are two reasons behind all these confrontations. One is vital countries with some valuable assets such as minerals, oil or gas are vulnerable to some business tycoons within the countries themselves or secondly, from other countries.

These evil supporters of civil wars are suppliers of weapons. They pay soldiers responsible in conflicts. In Congo, by the time war is progressing, behind minerals extractions is continuing in high speed. It has happened that they even transport the sand or rocks that are highly concentrated with gold plus other vital base metals such as silver, platinum, palladium or rhodium.

To some areas even neighboring countries are responsible in stealing neighbors resources.

This is a degree of insanity.

Africans we should not sabotage  each other but join forces together to find solutions to the problems.

Each African country by one way or the other has its own assets though they may differ from boarder to boarder. Some assets may be shared from one country to the other neighboring country. Some may be totally different.

So, there is no need of envying each other. This land is God's property. We shall leave it here after we expire. Let's leave behind a good legacy and not bad record…

So, to sum it up  I can say, Africa is poor because the decision makers of Africa are crawling while others are flying. I repeat, Dr Martin Luther King Jr once said, if you can not fly, then run. If you can not run, then walk. If you can not walk, then crawl. At the end you must make the movement to get somewhere intended.

You can not remain at the same position and expect to change the standards of your life. Everyday you must measure the steps you have gathered. And to boost future movement, you must exercise. Is Africa excersizing?

To be continued...

CHAPTER TWO

Real Challenges of Africa

Problems of Africa are known worldwide. Each African country has its own problems. But when combine together, you can end up realizing that they are nothing but the same.

1. CORRUPTION

Is number one problem of all problems facing underdeveloped countries. They suffer the rest of challenges such as poverty in general categories of sicknesses, poor infrastructures, lack of better education system etc.

Corruption can stand as a catalyst of all other problems. Because, African leaders despite of their own weaknesses, they have tried to find finances from external countries as well as international financing organizations such as World Bank, ADB, IMF, PARIS CLUB etc yet corruption and embezzlement has become a giant snake that swallowsthose funds again via corruption.

If Africa had disciplines in using aid assistances in the form of finance; it would have been far in terms of development.

2. POOR GOVERNANCE

You can not talk of corruption existence in an African country without associating it with poor governments. Most African governments though elected via the ballot boxes, they end up poor in governing their governments. The final results are corruption, embezzlement, lack of competence, poor services,  political riots, lack of employments to the youths,  poor infrastructures due to corruption, poor education system, health services are expensive and medicament some are fake due to lack of control and verifications.

3. LACKING INDUSTRIALIZATION FORMATION

Without having industries line selected careful, it will be next to impossible to boost the economy backbone of each African country.

Industries should not be built simply because they called industries. They should focus on the basic needs of the people. Type of agriculture. Especially crops which are not for food but that could be used as raw materials such as cotton, sisal,  tea, sun flower, rubber, coffee, fuel refinery plants, cashew nuts etc.

On the side of base metals such as gold, copper ore, iron ore, tin, silver and others should be processed within the country instead of transporting them as ores outside the country. The loss is too much. Because each ore, for example the so called copper ore and sold as copper unprocessed, within there are s number of minerals apart from copper itself.

Copper ore may contain copper itself by percentages. Gold by percentages. Iron by percentages. Silver by percentages, platinum by percentages etc. Experience shows that, 1 tonnage of copper ore contains not less than 1 kg of gold.

So, if we will have electrolysis processing plant here, that means the country will gain more value of its ores. However, its citizens will get employments. Revenue will increase.

Neighboring countries could process their own ores here (Tanzania).

4. POOR INFRASTRUCTURES

Without good roads which are passable annually it will be difficult to boost economy by transporting various  agricultural products, products of the forests or minerals from mining sites.

The issue of tourism will remain like a nightmare. Because, how could tourists be moved to the intended game reserves or national parks? It will be next to a failure business. Roads should be given importance specifically all necessary roads which has all elements of boosting economy.

Infrastructures is more than roads. That means other sectors such as railways should be given high priority too. Railway always is cheap, quick, low risks of accidents or theft. All African countries should consider building modern railways. I know few business tycoons who have invested heavily on trucks transportations are trying to block this sector but a real government should not be run by few people. The government should focus on majority and the future economy of the country.

Apart from railway we should as well designing transport via water through ocean, lakes and rivers for those countries which have such opportunities. Modern technology should be applied to enhance such a mode of transport.

Then we have airways. This is another mode of transport which should be supported by the government in order to boost economy. A country with reliable and affordable airways transport has a higher and possible way of improving its tourism as well as cargo transportation within and outside the responsible country.

Airways companies in Africa should not only invest in passengers transportation  but should focus also in cargo transportations. The second is vital in easing local cargos needed to be exported or imported.
