SimplicityIs joyEasy to explainThe moments we enjoyLeave no reasonTo complainSo nice to feel the weightLifted from our chestsWonderful to feelLike we are no longer obsessedLove and moneyBees and honeyHate and angerLike being beaten with a wire hangerMommy dearest your the bestI’m sure that I can pass the testMoney dearest never fearNo matter what ,for you I will be hereIt hurts when your madBut when you smile it’s niceI know it’s my faultI shouldn’t have asked twiceHold me close and love me foreverDon’t worry, I will leave you; never .I didn’t go off on this rant without reason,For every thought has its motive and seasonSadly I have seen this too many times beforeA child’s life trampled because of a parents paramourMistakes are simple to make when raising a childSometimes it’s a scrapped kneeBut not always so mildThe point of my story is this aloneBe careful of who you let into your house that you have made a homeThe people that children grow up aroundChange the tone of their lives and effect the soundFor Better or worse the impact is clearChildhood is what we all cling too and is the basis for all of our happiness and fear.
