My instinct is to protect you 
To love you 
To care for you
My instinct is to be a good role model for you
To be someone you can rely on
To be someone you can trust 
My instinct is to be there for you 
Forever whenever you may need it 
These instincts came the minute you were born
And I don’t think they’re ever gonna leave
