The apocalypse. It happened so fast, so quick, no one was ready. It just happened. No one knew it was the ultimate weapon to end the war, it was created by the United States; to end Russia's reign. It was World War 3.
The war lasted for 15 years: 2020 to 35. No one was ready for the aftermath that came, that the United States has rained upon us.
They popped up, one by one. Infecting all the ones that were ill, all the ones who couldn't defend themselves. Only leaving a dozen immune to them, went into hiding. Leaving over barely a million not immune to defend themselves against them, the zombies.
Everyone started groups. People built bases, formed new militaries, invented new weapons to handle the zombies, formed new types of government. New currency was made within the walls of new city-states; military bases. The old currency failed, it was useless, outside those walls of new civilization, currency was worthless, everyone stole. People would settle near or in stores to be close to food, drinks, and supplies. Humanity was in trouble.
It was up to me and my friends to save humanity from the zombies. To save humanity, find the cure for humanity. End the apocalypse. Reform humanity.
