I am the one who laughs
At you the hardest.
I am the one who lies
So very convincingly.


I am the one who tricks you,
Fools you,
Convinces you you're nothing. 
I am your worst enemy. 


I am the one who smiles,
Who cheers you on,
Who loves you.
I am your best friend.


I am the one who stops you.
The one who says you'll never win.
I point out every flaw.
I am your little demon. 


I am the one who shows you
The right way to go. 
I am your guide on your shoulder.
I am your little angel.


Who am I?
I am all of these at once. 
I am them each every day.
Who am I?


I am you.
