Once upon a time there was a little ghost girl. She was all sorts of kind a caring. She loved to help and play with the living children. One day she met a little living girl and they became the best of friends. They'd always play together and were almost inseparable. One day by the river bank they were talking and giggling and telling jokes and doing tricks. As the sun set but before the living girl had to go home they got on the subject of fears. Theliving girl was afraid of the dark because she thought monsters would grab her. The little ghost girl giggled at this  and told the living girl what her fear was. Her fear was being forgotten. She knew that, that sounded silly but for her being forgotten was worse than death. If she were to ever be completely forgotten it would be the equivalent of being stuck in a state between life and death and she'd simply vanish into nothing-ness. The living girl vowed to never forget the little ghost . After that the little girls went to the living girls house. Even though the living girl promised to never forget about the little ghost girl, as time passed, the living girl forgot about her ghost friend. One day the little ghost girl was watching the now adult living girl as she went through daily life working, dating, and eventually getting married and having children. At that point the little ghost girl knew in that no one remembers her and she slowly began to fade leaving no trace of her existence.
