The castle was a giant compared to the tree I was sitting in. I'm an elf. And you might think, "She's so short!" No. Lily the elf, me, well I'm not short. I'm kind of tall. My brown wig flew in the air. Well why's Lily wearing a wig? Humans. They kidnapped me when I was a small child. I had to live as a human. I mean, all they give me is stale bread and spoiled milk, but I'm alive. The gates were closing. The sun was setting. I went through the gate, running the fastest I could and into my room. The queen would murder me if I didn't make it on time. Why am I talking about a queen? I'm a princess. Elf and human princess. Nobody but elves know about my elf life. I visit them during the night. Well, most nights. I sat in the chair, the only thing in the room, and without my bread and milk, I fell asleep.
 "Wake up, ugly!" Oh. The spoiled human sister. Angelica. "Look in the mirror!" I said. Her bottom lip quivered. Oh great. Crybaby. "MOMMY! She- she called me UGLY!" I saw her smiling, not facing the door. Angelica punched my face and the Queen came in. "You ugly brat, no dinner tonight!" Well... It was with it. I guess I'll just get some food while I visit the elves.
