Good and Evil are two complex things.  But is good really good and Evil really Evil?  Now I'm sure you heard the story of this Cherokee teaching his grandson about life. This is a Native American story so I didn't make it up myself.  This is how the story goes; An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” He said to the boy.“It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”  He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”  The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”  Now if you read any of the stories online, you know the Cherokee answered "The one you feed" But that's not how it ends.  This is the true ending; The Cherokee answered: "If you feed them right, they both win."  The grandson was confused, so the Cherokee continued "If you choose to only feed the good wolf, the evil one will be lurking around every corner waiting for me to become distracted or weak and jump to get the recognition he craves.  He will always be hostile and always challenging the good wolf.  But if I acknowledge him, he is happy and the good wolf is also happy and we all win."  See, the Evil wolf has many attributes that can be beneficial: tenacity, courage, fearlessness, strong will, and great strategic thinking that we need that the good wolf doesn't have.  The good wolf has compassion, caring, strength, and the skill to recognize what is in the best interests of all.  Now let's get back to my primary question.  Is good really good?  Yes, it is.  But is evil really evil?  No, not really.  See, good and evil are like black and white, contrasts.  But what would be the world without them?  Good and evil are like brother and sister.  They always fight each other, but at the end of the day, they’re still family.  Good and evil are like life and death.  Life is the beautiful lie everyone wants to believe.  And death is the hurtful truth no one wants to believe and tries to run away from.  And if there was no death, just life, this world will be doomed.  Just like a hero can’t be good if there isn’t any evil to challenge them.  Without evil, no one would’ve killed Batman's parents and then he wouldn’t be Batman, just some random rich guy.  If there wasn’t any evil in the world, Ironman wouldn't be a hero, Wonder Woman wouldn't be a hero, heroes wouldn't be heroes at all!  Just like you can’t have a rainbow without some rain.  Just like you’ll never be victorious if you never went through pain!  Now I may be getting ahead of myself now, so let sum this up: Just like a rose can be two things, good and bad, so are we. We use our good side to get ahead of the sheep, and our bad side to having a little fun in life. You know what they say, what the point of living if you live scared of everything.
