``What's up with everyone?`` Said a female voice, Sinon Bark looked up at the speaker-Zoë Lynn. 
``Something's up?`` Simone looked around the cafeteria they were currently sitting in. ``Oh.``
``Yep, something is definitely wrong.`` Murmured another voice-Ivy Brooks. ``I don't like it.`` Ivy said quietly, lowering her head down to her shoulders.

round the cafeteria, Sinon saw that everyone who had started eating was groaning and clutching their heads. The trio hadn't started yet. Sinon stood up, watching a boy who was slowly turning to them. His eyes were bloodshot and skin was starting to tear away from his face. 
``Get down!`` Sinon shouted, she hit the deck as the boy leaped at them, he hit the wall and crumpled into a pile. ``Let's go!`` She pulled her friends from behind the table and started to sprint across the playground. 
``W-wait!`` Came another voice, Regina Anderson was hobbling after them. Regina was one of the many people who had decided to pick on Sinon. 
``Help yourself!`` Sinon yelled back, just then the previous boy ran at Regina, he grabbed her and dragged her screaming back into the cafeteria. The trio of girls continued running.
``In here.`` Zoë exclaimed, throwing open the janitor's cupboard door. We all leaped inside, slamming the door shut. Zoë and Ivy huddled up in a corner together, whimpering.  Sinon hunted round the cupboard for any weapons. She moved a box and shouted in surprise, lying on the shelf was a shotgun, plated with polished wood. Sinon picked it up, she found a bag lying on the shelf too, and pushed the shotgun into it. She hoisted the back into her shoulders and continued looking through the junk on the shelves. 
A few minutes later Zoë was clutching a baseball bat with nails -Sinon had taken them from the things on the walls and forced them in- and Ivy held a knife that someone had purposely left there. Sinon gritted her teeth, tying her black hair into a ponytail. She readied the shotgun with a few clicks. 
``Y'all ready?`` She said with a grin.
``No.`` Ivy said truthfully. 
``In a way.`` Zoë muttered.
``Then let's go!`` Sinon said with a snap. She raised her foot and kicked open the door. Zombies turned to look at them. 
``Let's do this.`` She smiled through gritted teeth.
