Send me back where I came from.
I don’t like what I see.
Let me go back home so that I can be free
of the madness of the city.
There’s to much sadness and pain.
So much negativity here that
It drives me insane.
Back where I come from
Hearts know how to care
There’s no such thing as
Every man for himself because
We’re all neighbors and
Burdens we share.
We’re I come from
There’s rarely a mother’s cry
after losing their babies when
Bullets fly.
City life may be okay for some
The truth is is I miss
Where I come from
