WitchCraft Academy | P7 - The Awkwardness is real! Real I tell you! - "Okay so let me get this straight. After you were seen with us and that guy Parker, you were getting weird stares and receiving glares from people right?", I nodded. He laughed loudly leaning back on his chair, his hands clenching his stomach and his other on the table to prevent him from falling to the floor. I raised my eyebrows and narrowed my eyes at him. "What? This isn't funny! It's making me uncomfortable.", his laugh slowly died down and he started calming down heaving a big sigh after. "Just as I expected, well I don't know about that Parker dude but yeah. We have a reputation here, the three of us are one of the best here at WitchCraft Academy. We don't talk to any one so often, scratch that, we don't even talk to anyone nor do they talk to us. So, I guess they were jealous that we had a conversation unlike them or something.", he closed his eyes and folded his arms on his chest. "You guys should've told me or something.", I rubbed my temples straightening my posture. "We don't want you avoiding us too.", he opened one eye and frowned. "We tried to at least talk to someone but somehow they avoid us and we don't know why." Jordan's face went from his usual happy face to a cold and expressionless one. I was beginning to worry because who knows how long they were being avoided? I must have said the last sentence out loud because he replied to me. "It started on our second year, we're in our 5th year." "So it's been going on for three years straight? How did you even manage to survive with everyone avoiding you? Also, how many years until you graduate?", I stared at his eyes waiting for an answer....and maybe admiring his eyes too because who wouldn't? They were stunning! He simply shrugged. "We have each other to talk to, and we sometimes talk to the professors and for that other question, you will need to be here for 7 years to be able to graduate.", I opened my mouth to ask another question but he beat me to it. "Why do we still look young if we're on our 5th year? That my friend is because our age freezes since we're in a place like this. They don't want us to be able to graduate when we're in our mid 20's or something and certainly we also don't like it too." "W-Wow....Uh, so...how old are you?", I stuttered a little bit, still amazed by the fact that your age freezes. How is that even possi-- I should seriously stop asking questions like that. I mean, come on! "I knew you'd ask that.", his lips curved upward, his face that was once masked with a cold, blank face had a genuine smile now. "So, how old are you?", I repeated the question again. "I'm 19. Now if you're the same age or a year younger, give me a call.", He said in a joking tone, followed by a wink. "Well now, aren't you a flirt?", I replied, batting my eyelashes letting out a high pitched giggle. He raised his eyebrow and his smile grew wider. "Only for you, cupcake." After that, we were both quiet for a few minutes. Our faces had the same smile and we burst our laughing. "Oh....my....god.", Jordan said between his laughs. "I can't believe I did that!", I blurted out, before laughing again. "God, that was good! You nailed the act!", We ended up talking and laughing the whole class because the professor didn't show up, odd but hey, I got to hang out with Jordan! He's really nice and a funny guy! The buzz from before sounded again and me and Jordan exchanged looks. "I'll see you later?", He stood up fixing his hat which made it a little more crooked than before. I stood up and got on my toes and fixed his hat. "There you go.", I stepped back and nodded. "Thanks cupcake, what's your next class?", I flinched at nickname he gave me but quickly recovered. "Uhh, Flying.", I said double checking my schedule. "Ooh, let me walk you there! You have the same class as Xavier!" "Wait, really? I also have Parker in the same class.", I tapped my chin, we started walking to the field at the back of the school, it was split in half. The other was for the class and the other...I don't really know, but some people were on their brooms looking like they're racing. "So, I'll be on my way to my next class. I'll see you later cupcake!", I think he may have gotten used to calling me that already, and me? Nope! I started walking to the class, and it looks like Madam Harvestwood was already there. I spotted Parker laying on the grass his knee up and his his hands on his stomach. I jogged over to the opposite direction but came to a halt when he called my name. "Hey Madison!", he had a soft smile plastered on his face. "You're just in time, Madam Harvestwood would've made you run laps or something around the whole field, or maybe worse...", he trailed off as he stood up, dusting the dirt off of his robe and started running to me. "Oh....That's great, I guess.", his smile disappeared and was replaced by a confused look. "Something wrong?", I heaved a frustrated sigh and turned to him. "You didn't tell me you also have a reputation here, and you knew the reason why I was getting those looks from the students earlier and you didn't even tell me.", it was his turn to sigh now. "Look, I didn't wanted to tell you because I finally made a girl friend which is you!", My eyes widened in surprise and I stepped back a little and he noticed his eyes also widened. "N-No! I didn't mean it like that! You're really awesome and fun to be with and if is okay with you, I'd love for you to be my girl friend-- No wait! I meant a girl that is my friend! Ugh!", I snorted a little then started laughing which made his cheeks flushed red. "Oh my goodness, you should've seen your face when yo-", I was cut off by my own laughing but Madam Harvestwood had scolded me so I calmed down and looked up at Parker who was looking away, his cheeks was still slightly pink. "Aww, you're blushing!" "No, I'm not!" "Yes, you are!" "No, I'm not! "Yes!" "No!" "Yes!" "N-" "Are you two done?", a deep voice interrupted our little argument which made both me and Parker stop and look at the person. "Uh...Hey, Xavier!", I plastered on a bright smile and he returned one to me. Parker remained silent so me and Xavier continued to talk. "It's awesome to be in the same class as you. Knowing that I had someone to talk to instead of just the professor....", he muttered the last sentence to himself but I still heard it. "Jordan told me already, no need to hide it.", I said with a sigh and he stared at me. "Really?! That little....I'll kill him later." "Hey, I had to find out sooner or later so there is no point in hiding it.", I shrugged but he gave me a cold glare but his expression immediately softened. "Yeah, you have a point there.", his eyes landed on Parker and raised an eyebrow. "Hey man." "Huh? O-Oh, hey.", Parker was looking away and staring at nothing in particular. "I'm Xavier.", he held out his hand to shake Parkers but he shook his head and Xavier tucked his hand in the pocket if his robe. "Yeah, I know. I'm Parker." I shifted my gaze back and forth from Parker to Xavier. They were both staring at each other as if they were communicating with their minds. There was definitely something up here and I'm curious enough to have to know why.
