It confuses me sometimes 
People will get married 
Have kids
Then some years later 
Their marriage falls apart 
So how are you to know if what you have Is love? 
Is it really Love you’re feeling 
When you get older will you still feel the same for that person 
Because I often wonder if my parents ever thought of that
If they ever doubted if what they had was love
It’s obvious with the outcome that the love they may have had
Died out very soon
So how am I to know 
That what I feel is love 
That what I feel can’t go away 
That it isn’t like happiness or sadness that can wash away in a second 
That it isn’t something that can be changed 
Because I want to love 
I want to truly love someone 
And I don’t want it to be false 
But how am I supposed to know 
If what I’m feeling is love 
Or infatuation
