Swimming in a dreamy lake.
The water's still, there's a lot to take.
On its smooth glassy surface,
I never want to leave this place.
It's peaceful and quiet,
The waves never violent.
I slow dip under,
Not wanting to disturb its slumber.
The only ripples are mine.
Made by my stroke, smooth and fine.
Swimming in a dreamy lake,
Too much time I take,
Soon I'll have to go,
The river will cease to flow.
But I'll be back tomorrow,
And wash away my sorrow.
A nice cool bath,
In my Dreamy Lake.
