If somewhere along my journey I fail
To the authority of my self-doubt and insecurity,
I hope that those who knew me well
Do not consider me weak or cowardly.
Call out my name in celebration
And think of me as if I passed by life’s will.
These hands were not controlled by satan.
I just wanted to feel well.
