How can you handle it all
The weight of your world on you
The feelings you’ve drowned in 
Your life it’s chaotic 
Your childhood is confusing 
The pain bottled in your heart
Is largely depressing 
How do you deal with the life you’ve been dealt 

My answer to that would be 
Because I know lots of people in the world 
Have it worse than me 
I know the situation 
The life I’ve been dealt 
The experiences and pain I’ve been dealt 
Has been planned by God 
It’s a path I’m meant to follow to be the person I have to be 

How do I survive the pain 
Betrayal 
I do exactly what I’m doing now 
I write 
Express 
Let it all out 
In the form of poetry 
I let my heart feel through 
The words I write on the page

  • I love every word cause its honestly and "real." Its a life that more than enough people have lived and still live today. I definitely can relate to living this life, it made me remember the hard times I've been through but how I survived and how that made me the strong woman I am today
