A Fall Leaf. Read Count : 114

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A

A wind shutters through me.

My stem cannot hold.

I wait to fall.

Down, down, down,

Gently swaying back and forth.

Being a leaf is peaceful,

At first I'm green,

Cheerful and strong.

But then the winds come,

Bringing fall with them.

I turn red and orange,

Losing myself,

Losing my happiness.

Now I'm weak,

I'm breaking.

A fierce wind comes,

And takes me away.

Now I'm brown a crinkled.

As snow hits my face.
