One Friday afternoon a guy was walking home from work. As he admires the vibrant scenery around him he begins to hear murmurs. He’s not surprised though as he’s heard them before. Does he like it? No he doesn’t but he just brushes it off and carries on. This Friday was different though because he couldn’t brush it off and couldn’t carry on. Just as the murmurs started they got louder and louder until it was an ear deafening screech. The voices carried on until his knees buckled beneath him. Crying out in pain he heard all the voices all the murmurs that were said to him. Why do you continue? You’re just a loser! You won’t amount to anything! There isn’t any point in continuing! Just give up already! You were fired for a reason! No wonder your brother bullied you!

Murmurs that were no longer silent. Voices that were no longer kept inside. As the man recovered he stood up slowly. He took a small breath and planted his feet.

Then he ran and screamed his voice of reason. I’m who I’m meant to be! Who cares if I got fired? Im no loser I’m a learner. You can’t bully me! I’m going to continue doing as I please.

Because not even conscience murmurs Can stop me
