"In the United States the top 1% makes up the bottom 50% of our country."- Bernie Sanders

What really curdles my corn is most of wealthy cheat not only the lower classes out of their fair wages, but they also cheat us out of their taxes as well. In a recent poll, over 89% of the pollsters think that the rich have been doing this for a long time. So allow me to explain the details, they have been cheating us by putting their money in foreign banks where it isn't traceable. A pollster stated "I believe the rich to be loathsome rats that are so greedy, they'd die before handing a few dollars to someone if it wasn't publicized."

I hate to say it, but these underhanded tricks are just expected. They consider this a small crime in the procorporations courts, but it is not a small crime. Those taxes go to many useful programs that help a large number of Americans and even people outside of America such as emergency assistance for places damaged by weather, or emergency rescue operations such as the boys in Thailand that were trapped in the cave. Operations such as these are heavily funded by the people's taxes given to the government.

These might seem like small potatoes to some people, but to me it seems like so much more. There are also major wastes of money as well, which is funneled into the wealthiest's own pockets, but it even gets worse as we are just on the tip off the iceberg. Let us delve a little deeper by talking about issues which effect everyone. The middle and lower class get the short straw again as we talk about law enforcement, fire fighters, and medical care. We drive on roads that are in badly need of repair and parents send children to schools that are understaffed and has some lower quality teachers. Does the rich send his or her child to a under-staffed poor quality school. No, they send their children to high cost selective schools where your name and parent's checkbook means more than a good education. So many children that could have a better future if the loser schools could afford the appropriate equipment required by law.

Is this what we call a good government? One that profits of of poisoning people and destroys the very earth we live on? Think about the ways these things affect everyone's daily lives. What will our future become if this is allowed to continue on?
