What do you ache for the most in your life? Do you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing? 
Would you risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventures of being alive? 
Have you touched the center of your own sorrow? Have you been opened by life's betrayal or have you become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain? 
Can you sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it, fake it, or fix it? 
Can you be with joy, mine or your own? Can you dance with wildness and let ecstasy fill you to the tip of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic, or to remember the limitations of being human? 
Can you disappoint another to be true to yourself? Can you bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul? 
Can you be loyal and therefore be trustworthy? Can you see beauty even when it's not pretty everyday? 
Can you get up after a night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done for yourself and for those who matter to you? 
Would you stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back? 
What sustains you from the inside when all else falls away? Can you be alone with yourself and truly like the company you keep in the empty moments? 
I really wanna know.
