The most Fundamental part of life. Learning about others. How they think, feel, believe, likes, dislikes, hobbies, etc. Nobody want to take credit for their actions, nobody wants to step up and apologise, ask, or say thank you, and yet they are willing to claim to be a good person. That is why the world needs to focus on learning tolerance.

When you think about others, what are some quality aspects of them? Kind, giving, artistic, creative, thoughtful… Is tolerant even in that list? Are they respectful to others opposite of them? Are they constantly insulting them about abilities, religion, race, etc.? Do they discriminate in any way?

I look around the web and I see the word “acceptance” all over, nobody should be forced to “accept” anything. The only thing people should require acceptance is if you are accepting tolerance. Accepting is taking the aspect into your life and using it. Tolerance is being respectful even if you don't completely understand it. I can never “accept” gay people's lives, because I have no intention to do it myself…. What I CAN do is be tolerant towards the fact that, even though I don't understand being attracted to the same sex, I can show respect to others whose brains and beliefs function differently in that way. And HOPE just HOPE that I can get the same respect back.

Just a little while back ago, I was a hard core person who discriminated against a certain group which will not be named. I felt hate, anger, and sometimes criminal against them. I've been hurt, humiliated, and teased by “these people”. Leaving a very bad taste for unnaccepting tolerance. Then, like a month ago, I ran into something that someone from this certain group said that I could personally connect to. They were nice, friendly and shared one of their personal life experiences that was able to change my perspective. I finally went from 100% intolerant to complete tolerance, and Then after I started to think about a family future, and considering fully accepting one in future years.

Tolerance is a super important aspect we need to learn. It can then turn problems we are facing every day, into a much more relaxing one, or on a bigger scale, A savage nation into a civil one. We just don't seem to have enough tolerance to go around. Too many people wishing to change others for small things. No change in belief, race, sex, disabilities would be needed if we all took tolerance into life and made ufpt our next number 1 goal.

(Quick note: Well I tried... was that interesting to read? I've been thinking of doing more like this, tackling issues, in the future. What should I try for next? Maybe the issue of underage drinking, or how deeper thoughts should go into choosing a pet.)
