Do you know what it’s like

To wish you were dead

Going around all day

With bad thoughts in your head

Do you know how it feels

When nightmares become real

And even when you’re asleep

You will your heart not to beat

Do you know how you feel

When a stranger asks what’s wrong

But loved ones don’t see it

Because it’s been too long

Now school mates can see

How broken I am inside

But the parents can’t tell

They won’t open up their eyes

Do you know how it feels

To barely eat all day

To want to curl up in a ball

And fade away

Now you’re suffering inside and out

Some can just see it without a doubt

“Oh that’s bad” they say

Meanwhile you’re struggling to make it through the day

They don’t try to convince you to stay

Instead they watch you slowly fade away

Can’t you see her crying inside

You will if you just look into her eyes

You’re even reading her thoughts on paper

So you better hurry up and save her

Do you know how it feels

To have to put up a wall

To be screaming and crying

But not show it at all

Do you know how much it hurts

To be shoved into a wall

You already feel unnoticed

But now you’re not seen at all?

You bite your tongue and keep walking

You’ll cry for that later in bed

But you’ll dwell on that all day

With grave thoughts in your head

I’m sitting and writing this in class

No one turns a head

No one knows how bad it is

How I want to be dead instead

No one sees the crying smiles

No one hears the torment coming from my head

On all the little things that you just said

No one thinks about the girl who always looks at the ground

They don’t know that that’s where she wants to be found
