Don’t say it wasn’t intentional 
Don’t say it was just accidental 
Don’t say that it had no meaning 
Don’t say that you never meant to hurt anyone 
Don’t you  say that you got “caught in the moment” 
Don’t you dare say that after 10 years you still love me 
That you still love us 
I’m not going to hear it 
I don’t care for it 
Your blatant excuses won’t work 
Your sad attempts at sorry won’t work 
Nothing will work
You can’t tell me it was ok
You can’t tell me you still care
You can’t leave yet still claim to love 
It isn’t okay
You can’t hurt me
Hurt my Mom
Hurt my family 
And just expect it to all be ok
Because you never meant to hurt anyone 
Because you and I both know 
That somebody else’s feelings 
Were never taken into consideration 
When you made the choices
When you betrayed our family 
You didn’t care whether our hearts were 
Cracked
Broken
Or lost 
You just wanted to make sure 
Your heart was content 
You were caring for yourself 
Whatever damage you did along the way
Well you left that to everyone else to clean up
