Mirror (another Attempt At Poems) Read Count : 99

Upon one summer's eve I could not believe

What I saw in the mirror frightfully filled me with fear

For what I had seen could have only been

A life without strife

Cash without cache

And love followed by a white dove

But where I stood was a beast with a hood

Fangs that made a steely clang

Eyes of yellow that'd scare any fellow

And red skin that made it look like I bled

My afraid was I

But then I blinked and started to think

And with that I held my cat and that imaged disappeared along with my fear
