I wish you could see
What you do to me
You build me up
You break me down

Everytime our eyes meet
I can barely remain on my feet
Feeling as if I’ll fall
Even further

You’re everything I want
You’re everything I need
But I can’t have you
No,
I can’t be yours

It’s a hopeless love story
Filled with pain
Filled with glory
The slight glances we exchange
Drive me insane

The subtle compliments
The way you laugh

You drive me insane
With the things you say
I can’t force you out of my mind
I can’t make you mine

You make me look at life
In a different point of view
How one bad thing can be changed
How you can sit there and think
“Why am I here?”
And you gave me an answer
“You’re here to live and love.”

Sounds so simple
Yet so true
Though I question it
There’s always one thing that ties life together
As you say, “it makes the world one, Love”
It keeps us united
“Because I love everyone, because everyone should be loved.”
The way you say things like that
Keep my eyes open
Keep me smiling

Everytime you look my way
I feel like I should hide
Everytime I need someone
You’re there

I’m just an ordinary girl
Who happened to stumble across you
Unintentionally losing myself in, “what if?”

A situation so unordinary
Because I am living a hopeless love story.
