Have you ever thought about someone and the phone rings and it is that person?


Have you ever felt that someone is looking at you and you turn around and someone is?


Have you ever felt uncomfortable around someone?


Well, that is all telepathy.


      I saw a Shaman when I stayed on a spiritual, recovery-based ranch in Washington on an Indian Reservation. Along with showing me my inner power animal and the way energy works—drawing a band of protection around me then securing it by pushing the energy into me to the point where it felt like someone had lightly shoved me—she told me another thing that blew my mind. 
      I was still in awe of actually feeling the invisible energy and the fact that she was so casual about it. My entire view of the world had just changed in an instant and she merely shrugs her shoulders saying, "Well, I asked you to picture the band getting tighter but you weren't doing it so I gave you some help." She also spoke in an accent I couldn't pinpoint, Elfish like out of a fantasy, Lord of the Rings-type world. 
      It was after that when she told me that humans are born with many different, "unbelievable" traits, such as telepathy, but we are programmed by many different people influences and are forced to believe in a certain way, while being  constantly distracted with external things, as grow up, we unplug ourselves from our internal spirit. 
      One illusion that we need to be rid of, she said, is our whole concept of time. I sat there, taking everything in like a sponge. I felt like I had just been born into a newer world. 
      Everything had made sense, too. We are all made of energy, the same energy. So therefore energy communicates with other energy. Just because we cannot control or manipulate it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
      There are lots of things we do not understand, but that doesn’t mean they do not exist. However, scientists have said that humans are capable of telepathy.
