I was broken 
Lost 
Trapped
In this endless cycle 
I felt abandoned 
The one person that understood me
Was gone 
I didn’t feel like myself 
I didn’t act like myself 
It was as if someone 
Had picked me up off the ground 
Only to slam me harder into it
All I wondered about was 
If you were ok
Why can’t we go see you 
I want to see you
I didn’t care about the division problems that I had to do
I don’t care about the English project that needed completed
It was only three days
But at that time 
When I was unsure if you were ok
Three days without you 
Felt like three decades without you 
And it was the worst feeling I’ve ever felt
