Hey,  im alice. This is the story of how I 'lost my mind' as other people say. You see, I'm not normal... I have the ability to see ghosts... Yet I didnt know until I was fourteen when I nealry lost my life.....  Let's start from the beginning... 
It was a lovely spring morning,  so me and my best friend,  lexie, went to a field to catch up,  as we hadnt seen eahother for 2 weeks because she went on holdiay and only got back a few days before. We were laying on the bright green grass, talking about her holiday. Then I heard someone call my name. It was so quiet, like a whisper almost. I thought it was lexie just messing around, until I realised she never stopped talking about her swimming with a dolphin.... I sat up and looked around, I saw a humanly figure at the other end of the field, between the trees. It was signaling for me to go to it. I had no idea who this was so I just turned around and continued talking to lexie. A dew minutes later I tunred around to check whether the person was still standing there... They had moved closer. Lexie turned around and looked at the person, confused. 
"What you looking at alice?" She asked me. I pointed at the figure,  that seemed to be getting closer very slowly, I could now work out that it was an old lady,  and said:
"Do you know that woman?" Lexie just looked at me with a 'what the hell are you talking about' look. So I just shook my head "never mind." We continued to talk like nothing happened. That was until I could sense someone looking at the back of my head. I turned around to see the old woman staring at me, about a meter away, smiling. But it wasnt like a friendly smile, her eyebrows were narrowed and her head was tilted down whilst her eyes were looking up at me. I was petrified. I had no idea who the hell this person was! Lexie turned around. 
"What's there alice?" She said, looking at me. How come she couldn't see this woman staring at me but I could!? 
The next part went like a flash. The woman jumped at me and my vision went black. The woman was dragging me across the field. I could hear Lexie's voice screaming at me. The next thing I knew I was in the hospital. My vision was still blurry. I suddenly had a shock of pain. I had later found out that someone found me on the forest floor. Someone hthestabbed me in the chest. Luckily I was found quick enough and I was rushed into hospital. Ever since that day ive been accompanied every where I go by that old woman. As I couldn't remember that she was the one who dragged me into the woods and no one knew who stabbed me, i, foolishly, trusted her. I could never remember what happened that day (someone told me after this happened) so I didnt know that no one else could see her. I would talk to her like she was a normal person. Now everyone thinks im a physcopath, always talking to myself. I never leave my room,  and no one even tries to talk to me. The old woman wouldn't visit me anymore. I was completely alone, and I still am. I guess I'm lost in the darkness.
