But the reprecussions soothed us persuasively
Like the devil drew a bath, 
At least it's nice to be seen
Our picture on everything
Now that it pays

Or tricks they play on our mind 
Giving it up 
But steal it from behind 
And even more this time 
because this time we let you in 
With sleep across our speckled, spelled out faces 
Bloated from the lies you fed us

Bellys imploded, shot from the Sunday morning lines you read us
From the master's favorite storybook and lullaby 
Simple nursey rhymes to strip you of your skin
Hang you for them 
Hang you for all your other little  ones to attend 
Be a good boy, and 
"Run that nigger, run" 

......


If you know time to be an eternal river, like I do

Then you understand the before has known no beginning , and the beyond be an echo 

Now imagaine..
Each emphemeral paticle  of water
Drained 
No beginning to comfort
And no end to the torment 

All you know
Is sacrifice for life 
All you live is now
