The little creature thin and small
Sitting there proud and tall
Full of furry and a broken heart
Attacks me without a heart
In the night I cry
For the little thing
It's dead now
It put a great fight but it was not ready
I am the same thing
A deer a deer in the forest
Not knowing what is behind me
In the night I lay
Dead as a fly for I am a deer
Brave and tall
And he was a predator
Mighty and strong
