One small step
One small blip
One small trip
Watch your feet as it pours
If you don't you'll certainly get yours
Watch your feet as it pours...
Those steps are long and uneven boards...
I took one wrong step and took a slide...
From top to bottom I did collide...
My head cracked across the lowest step...
My back across the long sidewalk...
Stunned, I could not move...
Dazed, I could not cry...
Trapped, I could not pry...
Sprawled out frozen in time...
I had to wait to be able to climb...
After that, I still feel the nagging pain...
I've never had a fall just the same...
A world flashed before my eyes...
In descent I had no way to cry...
Trapped on the sidewalk for a short time...
