5 years ago if you were to ask me what future I was hoping for. If I was going to have a family with my wife. I would have told you definitely of course I would. We would live in a mansion with a fresh cut lawn. A swing in front for our two kids Mason and Alessia. I didn’t account for what really happened though. We never got the happy family of four future. Our future was  destroyed the day our house was destroyed. The fire that left it in shambles . The day my painful headaches started. The day Malia disappeared. I remember as if it was yesterday, waking up in that hospital. Them telling me my wife was nowhere in that house. Just me tricking my self in the midst of the siutuation. Everyone told me I was crazy,  that nobody else was home that night. They said I was lucky to be alive. That if the neighbor hadn’t called 911 I wouldn’t be. I know she was there because I haven’t been able to get that look on her face that night out of my head. She just completely vanished with almost no trace.The only thing hat reassured me she was real that night was a letter. I received it two weeks after the incident. Cops have concluded by the letter that someone has taken my wife and this someone liked riddles. 
The letter includes a riddle that has to be solved to reveal Malia’s location. 5 years and nobody can solve it to this day. The riddle is short,and should be easy to solve but nobody can figure out what it’s telling us. The riddle says “ I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree does it?” A simple saying known by many yet we can’t figure out how it ties in with Malia’s location. 
After the incident doctors say the blow to my head that I received has given me headaches. It’s random headaches that appear whoever I’m too stressed. They are pretty painful so it’s limited the work I can do. Most people won’t hire someone who can’t handle stressful situations. Already being fired from 8 different jobs, let’s just say that isn’t the easiest thing to get past. Which I consider ironic with viewing how stressful my life actually is. Anyway doctors say it could go away with time, so that I’m grateful for.
As for the letter, I have about every government official I can working on it. Malia’s brother Derrick is the state sheriff so I had him check it out. I have the FBI on it to but they couldn’t find anything yet. I’ve even had my local neighbors check it out but nobody can crack it. What makes the letter even creepier though it the odd letter A in the corner of the page. It’s definitely a symbol for something but for what I don’t know. 
At the current moment I’m going to meet up with Derrick to see if he’s found anything else on the letter or not. Hey man found anything on the letter? “No not really nothing of interest anyway. It says that typical companies use letters to abbreviate their name brands other than that nothing.” Which companies use lettering like that? “ I didn’t know they aren’t pretty major companies stuff like Alberts car depot and A&J sporting Supplies.” Well that doesn’t give us much to go on does it. “ No it doesn’t, hey wait a second!” What is it did you find something? “ Yeah I think I may have found something that could turn this entire thing around.” What is what did you find?  Derrick what does it say on there! “ It  says the most unknown use of letter suymbols on letters is when transferring information from different gangs!”
