We are all walking in the Dark,
We are all walking in the blackness,
Whether at home, at work, or with our children or friends in the park,
How we crave the light,
How we just don't know,
About where we are in this world,
And to get somewhere else just how far we'll go,
All that we care about is our remote controls and screens,
It is hopeless for us to live a life like this,
Destroying our planet,
When if we took care of Earth our life would be bliss,
Everybody on this planet can do something to just help our communities to thrive,
Its simple, really, all things said and done,
From giving one another a lift to work instead of both of you having to drive,
To putting your recycling in the recycling bin and keeping our societies cleaner, litter free places,
Because though we are all walking in through the doorway to a dark unknown, 
Not sure what is going to happen next in this frightening world,
Know that we won't have to fight the this global fight alone.
We are stronger as one. No matter how soppy that sounds, it's true. We can help to save our planet and, though our future is like a darkened tunnel, at the end of every tunnel there is light. We will see that light one day and we will be proud of ourselves!
