A Fool Read Count : 41

A pitter a patter,
Tap to a rap.
Rhythm of all that matters.
The song played as he sat.

Brittle heart that rattled,
As pieces fell away, it clattered.
Forgotten, despair be battled.
As hope becomes a steed saddled.

A dripping drop of forgetful fuel.
Though his memory stays, like a stubborn mule.
Taking his place upon this heartaches stool.
He remembers the dance, where he played the fool.

  • This one was really good as well. I love how....not creepy....but how mysterious your poems are. Keep up the magnificent work!
