  Glasses are great. I'm almost legally blind without them... My mom is blind without them. It just takes time to get used to them.

  It's better than when I was a kid. I couldn't see the blackboard or any of the teacher's notes for three years. When I was in eigth grade I was walking into doors due to double vision is when they got alarmed. It still smarts 14 years later. It's okay, you'll get used to them and kids will stop making jokes after awhile.
