Sleep!  Sleep!  Sleep! 

I shout to myself
I know I need it

Still my mind races 
Refusing the silence I crave

Silence my thoughts
Silence my emotions
Silence my imagination

Change the music
Turn it up and drown them out
Turn it down and let them play

Change the beat 
Turn it up and chase them out
Turn it down and leave them alone

They'll quiet on their own.
