Calling Out At Night Read Count : 105

Now Listen I'd like to speak

Even though across the distance you cant hear me.

I lay in bed at night

Where my mind holds things left better unsaid.

Now I know you've moved on

I know you never really cared

You and your friend

Concluded

That me and mine

 were a waist of time

After my actions screamed I do

I said I didn't care

Anymore when I think of you

I think "Oh my God! Just... eww"

I layed eyes on the forbidden fruit

And tried to ignore the moldy skin

We danced around in your bedroom

To all my favorite rock and roll songs.

Connected together

Despite the craving from others

Kindling a fire of our own

While in company of others

Now I know you've moved on

I hope you really don't care.

But im left with my mind

I thought maybe you could hear.

My best friend fell for his game

After we'd smoke everyday away

With my dear friend Mary Jane

I just never thought it would fade away.

Like it did when the night came

I know you've move on

I know you never really cared

My smiles and eternal joy

Were lost in the haze guided by pain
