She never let those two words meet in her sentences when she left in her usual morning run
I was satisfied with that because in my mind I knew that she wasn't done
She just hastily scurried as quickly as she arrived as fast approaching was her departure
Gone to the next here for a moment you know how the saying goes, but who really knows where the wind blows
Those who become aloof like a leaf in the gust of it here for a moment a second a minute I lust of it
Looking forward to hearing your voice thinking back when I looked in your eyes
I stand here waiting patiently because she never did say goodbye
I never liked those words but neither did she I would rather a see you later or talk to you shortly
Those were better arrangement of letters to words that hung like when you said them in a way like a song being sung
It was like an open ended sentence left for me to finish all alone you know I surely would try
But as long as that it is open and not ended,
Because she never did say goodbye...
